Your gym doesnt offer free rentals of them? Most gyms offer powerlifting belts, weight belts, wrist straps, etc...

I hate most of the ones that gyms have with the really stiff leather. I like mine to fit the contours of my back but with a lot of the old school really stiff leather ones, they just kinda dig in. I prefer a more pliable belt.

the use of wrist wraps are mainly for bench press right ??? if your benching lots of weight??

widdoes2504 03-15-2007 03:54 AM

Wrist straps are more for pulling movements (rows, chins, shrugs) than bench.

I cannot believe I saw a so-called belt the other day using velcro to secure the belt instead of a buckle. What a load of crap. :wtf:

I use and inzer belt. I bleieve it was around $50-$60. Definitely the best belt I have tried so far.

I use a belt with velcro I can get it much tighter than a buckle
