Default Pouch o' fish

Ok so its not a recipe, but I tried this salmon in a pouch last night. Its similar to the tuna pouch, but its one big filet of salmon. That shit was good as hell man. I believe it had 32g P, 4g C(2sugar). you just have to watch, the highly flavored ones like teryaki had like 12g sugar, so go with lightly flavored ones.

they are a bit exspensive, it was like 3 bucks, but for a quick and easy meat source give it a go sometime.

Is this stuff better than the canned shit? I had canned salmon once and have been afraid to try anything but fresh fillets since.

Sounds like the flavored Starkist pouches to me.

BTW, the tuna in the pouch DOES seem to taste a lot better than the tuna in the can. I did a side by side taste comparison since I had some of both.

I've been getting frozen salmon fillets from Sam's Club which are pretty excellent if you season them to desire and do the Reynolds Wrap method in the oven (no need to thaw). Course I might have aluminum leaching into my food...:240:

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

I would say thats relative X. 3 bucks is more then tuna, but some of people go out to lunch and spend 10 to 15 bucks. i would get 5 meals from that, so it all depends on how you look at it.
