Tuna Brownies?

has anybody ever made tuna brownies? not with chocolate, however. just tuna and other healthy stuff. my super fit basketball coach used to say that he made tuna brownies sometimes when he wanted desert, even though it was nothing like desert. anyone know a recipe to make good tuna brownies that wouldn't just taste like eating a baked square of tuna? the only recipes i could find on the internet were for dog treats...

I think he was messing with you dude. There was a prank a while back by some guys on a board I used to read. They were in the habit of telling newbs that they put tuna in their post workout shakes ...

Yeah maybe, but like I said there was no chocolate involved. Or protein shake.

Tuna. In any form. Especially trying to make brownies or shakes out of it. Blech.

ETA - the only way I'll eat tuna is seared Ahi.

Not a sushi/sashimi fan. Not much of a fan of fish all together. Seared Ahi's the only rare fish I'll eat. And even then, it's gotta be done a certain way.

hrdgain81 09-25-2008 09:00 AM

hahah I'm just messin with you IK, to each their own.

Out of the can, i'll only eat solid white albacore in water, everything else I cant stomach.

That coming from iron KITTEN!!! :biglaugh: Yeah, some people can't really come to enjoy the tastes of fish. Do you like clams/shrimp/other seafood?

I like some kinds of shellfish, but not all. Just never been real big on a lot of seafoods.

Have you heard of 'mountain oysters' AKA bull testes? From what I've heard, they taste just like beef. Wouldn't know for sure, though.

Those are typically known as Rocky Mountain Oysters. And they taste more like pork than beef.

:D
