My ER trips have been cheap, relatively speaking since I wasn't going there for fun lol.

I still have my tonsils so I don't know how those would work. Elective surgery usually costs money though....

If an ambulance is called, you pay half of the ambulance charge as well. Its roughly $100 for an ambulance (in my area), so you pay 50 bones.

^^I agree with TALO. Everyone thinks our healthcare is free. The only truth to that is that there are no fees to pay when you go to the doctor, but you pay every paycheque, sick or not.
