Default Sugar Free syrups, marinades, protien, good stuff

Hi All.

OK, Over the weekend I went to dominiks for a kick ass meat sale, While there I went to the natural food area. They carried a ton of o Cal Atkins and Walden farms selections. I also bought a ton of different flavored olive oil, and other oils including Avacado, Enova, and walnut.

OK, I made a PF shake with the enova, 80%whey pro, and the starwberry 0 cal syrup. It was damn tasty.

OK, now the deals. http://wholesalersuperstore.com/Manu...ufacturerId=28 Go to the specials link. The Sugar free syrups are on the bottom, along with maranades. I also bought the barbaque marinade by Walden Farms, It is thin, but has a good, different flavor, not sweet, Ive been using it on my steaks. They are only $1.16 at WS.

Another option. Go to your dominiks if you have one, or a store that would carry the atkins stuff, and find the syrup. Most likely it will be expired. Atkins stopped producing this. The one I have from Dominiks was expired, just found out. Ask them for a reduction on price for the expired merchandise. I am doing this tonight at my store, they had a lot, and also a discontinued soymilk, low carb, vanilla and cappucino flavor for a buck. Good stuff also.

I spent more tan I wanted too on sales items, and then 3 Muscle milks because they are $16.68 eah, they also have the lower fat and carb, Evopro, and a 5lb Complete Whey for about 20 each. Decent prices.

OK, now the real protien deal. Eggs - Powdered Whole, they also have a 50lb sac, I will try a smaller quantity first, Also pick up oats, or whey pro from here. Also powdered egg whites if you look at the bottom of this page.

$4.95 ship for complete order... crazy, Ill order 75-100lbs total easily.

The amount of pro fa tratio is great in the whole eggs, hell, Ill be making up a gallon, to use over a few days for great breakfasts... I need to get paid, soon.

Egg protien is good.. dig it. I will add 1-2 eggs per PWO shake to check the taste. I go though a case (7 doz) in 1-2 weeks depending on if I make my bro eggs in the morning. Eggs and oil kick arse, eggs and cheese, eggs and anything.

Oh, and the powdered egg whites sold at honeyville, for 1lb egg powder, when added with water, makes 8 lbs egg whites. man o man.
and 1 lb of whole egg makes 4lb of eggs when water is added...

word.... Cheap, effective, dc is fond of egg protien, At IM he says he uses the egg pro often. Check out the prices of egg protien at trueprotien.com. Click on protien and scroll all the way down. They also have the nutritional info on powdered egg whites and powdered whole. Even when purchased at 50lb for discount, it is double Honeyvilles price. Powdered egg should be powdered egg. Get this, from the item description "Originally developed for use in the military, our whole egg powder, when blended with water, reconstitutes into a product similar to fresh whipped eggs. "

I go through a LOT of eggs. From the honeyville website, dig the last sentence ;)

"How egg products are made
Egg products are processed in sanitary facilities under rigorous inspection by the United States Department of Agriculture. The first step in making egg products is breaking the eggs and separating the yolks and whites from the unwanted shells. Eggs are processed by automated equipment that move the eggs from flats, wash and sanitize the shells, break the eggs and separate the whites and the yolks or keeps them together for whole egg products. The liquid egg products is filtered, mixed, and then chilled prior to additional processing. This liquid egg product (in a pasteurized format) is what you get when you re-hydrate your powdered egg product. Powdered Eggs provide all the natural goodness of an egg in a convenient, non-perishable package. From here the egg product is pasteurized. The law requires that all egg products distributed for consumption be pasteurized. This means they must be rapidly heated and held at a minimum required temperature for a specified time. This process destroys Salmonella and any other bacteria, but does not cook the egg or affect the color, flavor, or nutritional value. Dried egg products are powdered by spraying the liquid egg into a heated drying room. The powder is left in the drying room for a specified time to get the desired consistency.

Safety of Powdered Egg Products
Powdered Egg Whites, Powdered Egg Yolks and Powdered Whole Eggs can be used in baking or cooking. They are pasteurized but are best used in a cooked product, especially if serving high-risk persons like the elderly, young children, or individuals with immune system deficiencies. Users should be sure that the internal temperature of the cooked product reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Egg products can be substituted in recipes typically made with raw eggs that won't be cooked (Caesar salad, Hollandaise sauce, eggnog, home made ice cream, key lime pie, and protein or supplement shakes)."

Well, If you have ever had eggs at school, or massed produced, a lot of the time, they were reconstituted.

I bought some carton eggs, milk carton style, kinda like egg beaters, Ill be trying them tonight. I cant see them being to bad, Same idea as using milk powder, but a lil better.

Oh, and I just looked at my receipt for dominiks, I paid $5.99 for my syrup. I definately going tonight, asking for a refund for what I bought, and ask if I cn buy them out of the rest. hehehe
