I see it all the time--people beating themselves up in the gym and not seeing results. They don't understand that hitting the weights hard is only a small part of growing or even cutting down. I could train the same all year round and get big or get ripped just by eating different and taking different supplements"

I just recieved some WMS from trueprotein. They lowered their price. Shipping is the big drawback since they are accross the country from me. But I looked up the rate on the UPS site just to be sure they weren't overcharging me.

eric can you give us a little write up on the wms from trueprotien after you have used it a while? I am gonna need to order more soon, and I'd like to hear your thoughts before buying.

same here...the product is cheap enough, but then it doubled with shipping...hoping to get it within the next day or two....I like the fact that you can trax the order..

Dammit I just wrote up a thing and lost it. Oh well here it goes again .

I've only used it twice (got it three days ago) so this is just a preliminary report. I used it once for a weight workout and once for a HIIT session.

I'm a long term user of malto and dex. With the WMS I'd say the comfort in my stomach (for pre weights) was a little better. Nothing extraordinary. I've been using the same concoction for so long that I'm really used to it. But I noticed definitely that I was less sluggish at the beginning. Felt stronger and less heavy limbed at the beginning of my warmup. Overall energy levels were really no different in general, however.

I got a crash toward the end of the workout. A weak low sugar feeling. I didn't have anything but accessories left so it didn't affect me. I have a feeling that the crash is temporary. I took a relatively small amount as I'm still figuring out my tolerance but I probably just need to get used to it. If the problem continues I'll bring down some extra to drink.

For postworkout there is nothing really to report. I didn't feel it "surging into my muscles" like some people have said.

For the HIIT session it was good. I basically chugged it and went right to it. With malto and dex I would have to wait around 15 minutes. No crash for this relatively short workot. Used it for post too and everything was hunky dory.

So a little improvement in comfort and it seemed to kick in faster for sure. But overall nothing miraculous for me. But as I said it's all very preliminary.

This is the first WMS product I've used so I can't compare it to other products. It was chalky like some others have said. I'd be worred if it wasn't to chalky since it IS supposed to be corn starch . I didn't find it too unpleasant but it's not something I'd want to be sipping on during a prolonged endurance event. I got regular strawberry flavor which I don't find nasty like Sleazy does, lol.

Alright so so far I'm not blown away. If I had been comparing this to plain dextrose, which I think a lot of people do then I would be blown away. Frankly though I think it would be silly to compared it to plain dextrose which kind of sucks by itself. But in comparing it to a fairly honed pre/post formula it's so far not really that different in terms of anything I can actually put my finger on. Perhaps my glycogen is being restored at a faster rate or whatever but I have no way of measuring that.

I think it would be great for something requring prolong energy where you used it like a sports drink. But I've got plenty left so we'll see what happens. The price went down but I'm on a very limited budget. Based on what I'm seeing now I'd rather spend pennies on malto/dex and get stuff like citrulline malate. But my mind isn't closed and it's IT IS a very good choice, obviously, I wouldn't dispute that. I'm just not seeing the "night and day" difference that so many seem to. It could be that I know a little bit about making a good pre/post concoction out of what I've always used .

I've been doing this with virtago, and it has worked out well. one scoop virtago, 3-4 scoops purple Wraath is pretty awesome as my pre/durring drink.

Good look on the observations.

I recieved mine from true protein. Yesturday was my first time using this. To be honest I didn't realy notice anything. But I didn't use it as a pre I only used it as a post. And I trained my legs (if that matters) Because I didn't notice a pump or fullness like some have said. Next training day I will use it as a pre to see if I notice a longer workout session. Then I will use it as both to see what's there.

My wife also tried it yesturday (she worked her upper body) Started it with about 5 sets left in her workout and she said that by the time she was done she did feel the fullness in your arms/shoulders/chest. No bloating which was good. And she like the taste- we got the wildberry.

This is some messy shit - I believe I read that from a few guys before and it's true. Shit, I got it in a bag and trying to put it into a few containers that I had lying around...I sure made a mess of the kitchen..

I think, for pre, I'll start drinking half or so and sipping the rest during workout.
