My favorite time to take them is the morning after a nasty leg workout. I mix them with citrulline malate and sip away. They taste really good btw. ![]() |

| What kinds of aminos are you talking about? I use BCAA's while dieting, usually its a day long process, I mix them in with my water and simp through the day. I know of many others who use bcaa/eaa pre/durring/post to aid in recovery. I've done this and it helps IMO, although I stopped taking whey all together and "superdosed" the eaa's. |

Gender: | I'm taking some BCAA now and they are the size of the end of my finger. It's tough getting those babies down. Usually I have to break them in half. They claim to pocess 2g of protein per pill. I usually take five of them with a protein shake before I go to bed. Just to have something in there to slowly enter the system after I'm asleep. I don't worry to much about taking them any other time. I tried liquid aminos once. Tasted too bad and was too thick to mix with anything. One serving was only 5g so it really wasn't worth the money I paid. Most of the non-food protein/aminos I take are in the form of protein shakes (Designer Whey)...maybe three servings per day. I've been doing it since the first of the year and have been feeling really lean...so I like it. |

| I always stayed away from bcaa pills because of what PJes said, they are freakin horse pills, and you cant get as much out of them if you have to choke them down. I go with bulk powder form from either nutra or bulknut, good stuff. |

Gender: | i got the horse pills...they are about the same size as my multivitamin i'm thinking one or two in the morning before i hop in the shower....then one or two before workout...and maybe one or two before bed? |

Gender: | The best time and qmount is 15grams(powder or caps,doesnt matter),is 15-min towards the end of your workout,sipping it until you are done working out with 30-45grams of waxymaize(fast carb),then 20-30min. after,40grams of whey protein. |
