Gender: | I'm due to buy some more creatine, and with all this talk lately about which creatine to buy, it's got me second gussing my creatine of choice. What I have been using (for the past 6 months or so) is Creafuse. Here's a link to the stuff. http://www.bioformxeast.com/shopexd.asp?id=114 Now the ingredients is, Kre-Alkalyn PH Buffered Creatine, D-Ribose, Taurine, Glutamine Peptides, L-Carnitine, and PharmaDex™ (insulin stimulating carbs). Now do I really need all this stuff or is it just a gimmick geard toward my pocket book. I have been looking into bulk nutrition cee. The price difference has got me thinking, do I really need all that shit in the creafuse? Will the bulk nutrition cee be a better product for me? Hopefully someone will be able to explain all the differences between the two for me. Thanks |

If you really wanted some of the other ingredients I would again recommend buying them individually in bulk. Stuff like Taurine, Glutamine, etc are really cheap by themselves so there is no point in paying such a high price per pound for this stuff. And you can just get some malto/dextrose to replace the "insulin stimulating carbs" in the Creafuse, which I am guessing is just a clever name for dextrose. | |

Gender: | So I bought some creatine ethyl ester HCL. I was cheap - on sale 250g for $10. I haven't bought it before on it's own(just mono) and I was wondering is it supost to taste bad...It's ver bitter, sour,Very stronger. First I mixed it with my WMS(which made that drink bad) Then I just took it on it's own after my workout.(3g-small scoop) and it almost made me puke.... I can handle stuff that tastes bad, flavor dosen't really bug me. I was assuming it was going to taste like every other white powder (baking soda'ish) but I was wrong.. Should it taste like this or did I get a bad patch ? |

Gender: | When creatine mono first came out years ago I bought a bottle. Yeah the powder is pretty bland, no real flavor. I found that if you mixed it with some juice then it's not too bad. I went ahead and bought some cee last night over the internet. 500g for $18 not bad. It should get here in a few days or so. Then I'll be able to compare the taste to the mono I had years ago. |

Gender: | What I'll try when I finally get some is just to spoon it onto my tongue and wash it down fast with my shake. That way it doesn't get a chance to mix in your mouth and I'm sure it would be sour as hell but not as bad as mixed up. I'll try it and let you know. In the past the best cover up for sour stuff for me has been apple juice in terms of fruit juices. I haven't tried crystal light though. In general for really awful tasting stuff I've used the bandaid method, though. I.E. I mix it in a small amount of liquid so I can down it in one gulp and then wash it down with something better tasting. |
