Default BCAA Capsule timing??

In addition to a half scoop of protein, I will start taking some BCAA capsules PRWO starting Friday. I have taken BCAA powder in the past, but not caps. I got them for free, so I couldn't have 'spent my money better.' So, I have a question: I take my scoop about 1/2 hour before a WO, for muscle fuel at the start. My typical WO lasts about 1 hr, and I want an extra fuel source. So, about when should I pop the BCAAs? I figure about 10 min. into the WO. How would you all do it? BTW, they are the "Super BCAA 2200", from Body Fortress, and are a softgel-type capsule, and the serving size (4 pills) has 2.2 grams of BCAAs, as well as 800% of B-6, and 27% of Vitamin E.

Thanks in advance!
-John

Anywhere from 30 min before to the start of your workout should be fine, I think. BCAAs won't be your body's first source of energy, so you're more likely to metabolize them for energy later in the workout. It also depends on what kind of workout you're doing. If it's strength oriented, then you could probably take it at the start...or just whenever. If you're doing something like I am or something like DC training, then you might want to take it 30 min before.

I wouldnt bother with them after you've finished what you already have. The b-6 content seems good i guess, but I would take in 15-20g of BCAA's pre/during lifting, so you would need roughly 10 servings, which would be 40 pills

Duh, I didn't even read how big the serving size was. Good call Matt.
