Gender: | Yeah you know I almost added a comment about where do you think GNC get's it's creatine? Answer: The cheapest possible source. PROBABLY most of the sups you buy come from companies who buy the cheapest possible ingredients. And probably to most assuredly MOST of these companies do NOT test these ingredients to ensure ANYTHING about them. Last edited by EricT; 02-04-2008 at 03:02 PM. |

| Of course the source from the cheapest possible places, its a business like any other. I know of a few companies that spot test the raw materials before they sell them, but I would think that because of the expense of chromatography testing it isnt done a lot. You really gotta trust what your putting in your body. |

Gender: | I had read this quote from a German supplier of herbal stuff and things like that. In Germany (Europe in general I think) the stuff he sells is classified as a drug. So it's topnotch stuff. We all know the Germans make topnotch stuff anyway |

| I agree with hrdgain and Eric. I have taken creatine several times before over the past 6 years and have had no side effects what so ever. I am not taking any supplements what so ever now and I would say I am more agressive/angry/w/e you want to describe it as than the last year i wasnt lifting or working out at all. I would attribute being like that more to just lifting than anything your putting in your body, definitely not creatine. And everyone has those days they look in the mirror and hate what they see or love what they see. You deal with it, its part of life and if you didn't have those days where you hated how you looked than you wouldnt push your self as hard to work out and change it. I also don't believe in depression or any type of things like that. |

Gender: | You don't know anything about things you haven't experienced first hand. If you had ever been depressed, or loved someone who had, as Widdoes, you'd find the whole notion of "not believing in it" offensive and judgemental. There but for the Grace of God, go I. Everyone gets in a funk sometimes. You can get stressed. Have a lot of pressure or just a lot of things going down. What have you. And maybe something you are putting in your body or are not putting in your body is affecting your mood. But there is a difference between short term alterations in mood that you can "snap out of" by some simple change. That is not what we are talking about. It goes back to this thing of people saying depression is all vitamin and mineral deficiency. Well, if you have a defiency that is altering you mood (which is HIGHLY unusual, btw...true clinical deficincies aren't that common) then you ain't "depressed". You have a nutritional deficiency. If you corrected that deficeincy but the alteration in brain chemistry hung around for some reason despite this, then that would be depression. Otherwise it's just mood changes. |

| I just dont believe in depression, eating disorders, alcoholism/being addicted to anything really. agree with what pitysister said in first part of post. I know plenty of people who have been involved in those things family/friends, I just personally dont believe they actually exist as diseases/disorders. Don't mean to offend anyone I just said what is a belief of mine. Not directed at anyone at all and I won't post anymore on it since I know it always tends to make people angry, only posted this since some ppl asked what I meant. |
