| Now I am sure that we all here know how expensive it can be to purchase supplements. Well I have got my hands on some protein bars that are just a bit outdated. Anyone have any word on the longevity of these items. I am sure that they will be ok. I just don't know if they will lose any of their nutritional values, and lastly if there is any harm. Maybe I am just a cheap bastard but when you can get them for about 10 cents a bar I wanted to check into it. |

Gender: | 10 cents a bar?!?! If I had the means I would buy them too. Even if they do lose some of their nutritional value, you can't beat that price. I don't think its a big deal as long as they aren't years old, especially since they are sealed and have preservatives. I eat outdated stuff in my fridge all the time and I'm still kickin Last edited by Sleazy; 03-31-2005 at 08:13 PM. |

Gender: | EAS was giving out samples at SND, which I HATE. I live in canada. Each time I go to Popeye's I always get free bars, customer service and staff knowledge is great. I am just looking to find bars like Kong at a good price, to me its my cheat meal/candy. I think I deserve it. |

I only at half of them because it was the old kid bars, and their taste is not that appealing. I finally threw them away when I emptied my supplement cabinet. I never got food poisoning or anything of that sort, so my advice would be to go ahead and buy it unless its out of date by a year or so. |
