| Rank: Bantamweight Experience: > 1 Year | Well I bought some ephedrine at Popeye's the other day. It was only $10 so I figured I'd give it a whirl. The lady said it can be used on its own as a pre workout energy thing. I also heard later on from a friend that it doesn't work unless its stacked with something else like caffeine in which its more of a fat burner. What is the real truth? Am I wasting my time if I take it on its own. I was gonna try taking one or two before the gym along with my usual energy drink. Suggestions? |

| Rank: Bantamweight Experience: > 1 Year | Well I answered my own question today. I took two before my workout with my energy drink...whoa! I was all jittery and sweaty. Pretty good workout energy tho. However, I think I'll just stick to one since I had a pretty bad "crash" after. Had to have a nap. |

Gender: | You will still benefit from taking ephedrine by itself but if you are really looking to get the most out of it then adding caffeine to it will help. Ephedrine will boost your metabolism and suppress your appetite helping with weight loss and the caffeine adds a thermogenic effect. My suggestion is to slowly build up your tolerance and when your comfortable ramp it up or add to the stack. It's not uncommon for it to feel really strong as first especially if you are taking it before a workout where you will notice an increased heart rate and sweating. Slowly building a tolerance will also help avoid the side effects. |
