Default Flaxseed Oil

So, I was bugging around our medicine closet and I found a bottle of flaxseed oil pills. I've heard somethings about flaxseed, but not enough. Should I consider taking it? What exactly does it do and would it make that big of a difference?

Also, if I do decide to take it, how much of it should I take? And when should I take it (night, day, pre workout)?

Flax seed oil contains omega fatty acids, or good fats. How much is there per cap? They help in overall health, so there is no reason not to, they can contribute to fat loss also.

It says 1,000MG capsules. There are also more MG %'s below it too. Should I take it when I wake up like a multi-vitamin? Or pre workout/post? Once a day? The bottle says 2-4 times a day

how much do you wiegh? I would guess one with each meal would be fine. But you should have a goal in mind, a reason why your taking it.

I take Optimum Nutrition Flaxseed Oil and Fish Oil. One per morning before breakfast. I take them for general health and heard they can promote weight loss...*fingers crossed

^^ its not a pronounced fat loss effect, but it helps, alteast thats what published studies say. you need to be around 6 grams a day of fish oil to get those benifits hunt0r

I've been using Flaxseed Meal for a while now. It's ground flax seeds and it's very inexpensive. A pound is $2.39 at my grocery store. Two tablespoons has 2400 mg of Omega 3 and a pound lasts a month. I add it to my cottage cheese every morning.
