| I just started taking 3 grams of GABA before i goto bed the other night. The guy at the vitamin store told me that he would stack the GABA with Aginine because of its effects of releasing growth hormone and its ability to help absorb protien. (This guy was a monster) Does anyone here have any expeirence with either of these two sups? I know Arginine is an amino acid, but if im taking 3 grams of GABA, how much Arginine should i take if you think it would even help at all? My goal is to get quiet a bit larger, i want to be 200 lbs. in the next year or so. Im at 180 right now. Currently i am eating 5-6 good sized meals a day. High in protien. I work out 5 times a week using a MAX-OT styled program. I also run 4 times a week 2-3 miles. I have serisouly toned down my drinking to one night a week maybe (before it was like 5-6), and have quit smoking which is making me eat like crazy. (im always hungry now, but am feeling really good, especially my lungs) As for suplements, i take a multi vitamin, Omega 3-6-9 caps, but i triple up on omega 3. Cayenne, Joint sup, and milk thistle in the morning. Then i take a creatine drink before i work out, fellowed by dinner and a muscle milk shake and 5000 mg of Vitamin C for an antioxident. Now im throwing in the GABA at night. What do you guys think? Do i have a pretty solid sounding system here? Any suggestions. Really interested in if anyone have used GABA and if i should possibly stack it with Arginine? |

| Gaba orally has very crappy bioavailability. Much of it gets broken down before it ever has a benficial effect on GH release. and arginine is possibly the worst NO boosting sup out there. I would be hesitant to go with what some "monster" tells you, for a few reasons. one he is either geneticly predisposed to easily gain muscle, so what works for him isnt what works for a hardgainer. Two if he is that abnormally large, there is a chance he has used or is using AAS. So again what works on AAS isnt what works when your going the natty route. Three he works at a vitamin store, he wants to sell you shit, period. I'm not saying it wont work for you, some people swear by GABA, but i wouldnt exspect miracles.
