| Rank: New Member | Ok here's the thing, I've been taking L-carnitine, CLA, and chromium for the past month because I've read in different articles that each one has a positive effect on muscle and energy. I take 1 gram of L-carnitine on an empty stomach before I lift in the morning. I then take 1.5 grams of CLA after my workout and I take 200 mcg of chromium picoliinate 2x a day. My question is whether or not I am supplementing at the right times and should I be taking more. My goal is strength but I am trying to lose fat as well. Any advice? |

| If it were me, i'd drop the cla and the chromium. they are both touted as fat loss agents, both of which have been shown to have very little effect. and in the case of cla, it can hinder fat loss. |
