Do Wal-Mart, Sams Club sell malto or maxy maize? I have never used any carb in my drink before. I read the article about pre and post workout nurtrition, and decided that I should start because my progress on losing body fat and gaining muscle is slow.

I personally have not seen either malto or waxy maize at those locations. I get mine online. Good luck.

I use a product called carbomax for my maltodextrin. I bought it in a 5gal bucket. I mix it 50/50 with gatorade powder (sucrose / dextrose) for the mix of simple sugars and complex carbs.
