Gender: | Hey Guys, So I have been having some pretty bad pain in my left elbow when doing my tricep workout. The main exercise that is really affecting it is skull crushers, which of course puts alot of stress on this area. I really don't want to give up skullcrushers since they are one of my favorite exercises and I have really worked my way up on them. Its also getting to the point where it is affecting my other exercises like flat bench. I was wondering if anyone here can recommend a Joint Health/Support supplement or brand that they have used before and been happy with. I have never personally had any problems until now so I am completely ignorant on what to look for. Figured I would give one of these a try since I don't think it is a sprain or anything that serious. |

sleazy, I have had joint problems (i dont mean rolling them) for years now. The usual glucosomen and condroiten(sp?) supps work pretty well after a few weeks of building up in your system. but they get exspensive after a while, so i would go with whatever you can get cheapest. I also saw some new shit celadrin, its usually coupled with msm ... i've heard good things, and it seems to be a little cheaper. brand wise I would go with NOW FOODS, they seem to be cheap and have good quality products.

Hrdgain murdered the spelling but its ok, his info was sound. Glucosamine Sulfate MSM Chondroitin complex Those are the most prevelant. Now there is Celadrin. NOW foods now has a Celadrin & MSM 60 Caps $8.99 http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=1958 I will try this next purchase also, cant beat the price to try. I tried Omega Flex becasue of good reviews. Price of $23.99 a bottle is rich. Serving Size: 6 Capsules Servings Per Container: 30 Amount Per Serving: Celadrin 1350mg MSM 1005mg Chondroitin 750mg I have had good results so far. My should does not ache during the day while I am at my desk and I have had no weird sounds coming from my broke ass shoulder. I have not been to my ART practitioner in 5 months. It is working for me. Prior to the Omega Flex I had Now Foods MSM and Chondro, $25 for a bottle of 240 from amazon. This one looks decent, and I will buy it to try. MRM is inexpensive, and has not done me wrong before. nice ingredient list. http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=1874 I will say though. NOW FOODS Rules. Oh and skip the skull crushers. Use something like close grip bench or push downs. Do some board presses, you will have some killer tris if you do some solid work on them. Last edited by joeyboy777; 07-21-2005 at 05:33 PM.

I take a glucosamine/ MSM pill that i got at vitamin world and it works great. It was really cheap too like $4 a bottle and it has 60 tabs. I take 2 a day and my joints feel good and strong.

OK, I say Omega Flex is not worth it. I have been taking the advised dosage for a little over a month, and I feel no better ffeback from my body than an MSM/Chondro pill. There is one other supp that is talked about on a few other forums, Cissius, http://www.synergymuscle.com/catalog/ I have found some places online that sell the herb, but mostly overseas. They are going to have a sale on this in about 2-3 weeks. Here is a snip of their last sale, CISSUS RX is currently on sale for $18! Yes, 180 500mg+ caps for $18. You buy 4 and get 1 free. The sale will end August 1! Ill try it, My joints are one thing I definately want to take as much preemptive looking out for or whatever you call it. Word
