Gender: | I'm lookin to make serious gains without taking anything that will damage my body. (I'm only 16) I'm currently taking creatine and pro complex gainer. I'm not getting as much of a muscle gain as I would like. My question is, what else should I be taking to maximize my gains without hurting my body? |

You're young, so your body is still going to be doing a lot of growing over the next few years. Diet is the #1 thing you can do to put on size/strength...that goes for anyone. EAT. You will put on at least a pound or two a week doing that. I read your other post on what supplements would be best for you. And what everyone mentioned is really all you need. I put on +30lbs on my bench in two months taking whey protein, multivitamins, fish oil, and eating decently. You asked what else you can take to help maximize your gains. Diet and the supplements that I mentioned + your own hard/smart work make up about 98% of any possible gains. There's not much else that's really worth the money that is going to help very much. |

| The only other thing I can add is reading. Go through the stickies, and increase your knowledge as much as you can. The more you know about how your body works, the better your decisions will be about training/diet/rest. |

| Rank: Lightweight Experience: > 1 Year | If you're talking about artificial testosterone (aka steroids) then yes, it can have horrible effects on someone your age. If you're talking about a testosterone booster...which is something legal and you can find anywhere, then the side effects will be mild. You also won't see any results at your age...just a boost in libido...which means you'll be even more horny. Probably not much in the way of strength gains that you would be able to credit to the testosterone booster. Waste of money.............. |
