Default need supplement suggestion

I am 24 and weigh 175.Just started out training and I am looking for only one or two supplements which are essential and dont have any side effects like hairloss etc. I am not looking to become herculese so I am just looking for something which keeps body fat in check and assists in muscle growth. So what would be that one essential supplement you think I must take. thanks

If I had to choose only one it would have to be the Whey protein.

Amino acids are really helpful, but as long as you eat a balanced diet, including meats, nuts, dairy products, eggs, and other animal-based foods, you don't have to buy them, but you can also buy them separately.
