| Rank: New Member | Hey everyone! This is my first post. I'll do the post in the intro section later Anyway, i have a question. I have been on Atkins for the past ~6 months. Started at 210 and now am 180. I am not skinny naturally, so losing weight was pretty hard. Now I am pretty satisfied with myself. The only thing that i cant lose the fat off of is the abs..i still have a small gut. When you kind of pinch it, you can feel thats it's just fat. Now my friend recently suggested that i take creatine and protein mix to gain muscles. I' ve been taking it for a week now. I am wonderin if it's possible for me to take all the supplements and still lose fat and may be weight. Honestly, i dont care about the weight at all, i just my abs to be ripped. I was wondering if being on a low carb diet and takin that creatine stuff makes sense, cuz it says there is 75 grams carbs per serving. If they all go into buildin muscle, then its ok i guess. But i am not sure. I also heard that you can lose fat by drinkin creatine. Can someone suggest how to lose the fat on the gut. If it's running, then how much...etc..plz details someone, because i want that SIX PACK sooo bad lol |

| An honest answer, but the wrong answer.....You should have said something like......When my pancreas was being extrapulated, the surgeon had to cut me in half, and this resulting scar is my reminder!.....Seriously though, if you want your abs to be ripped soon for like the beginning of July, hit the cardio like a madman, and introduce weights to your ab work (hug a 45 when you crunch, or better yet work up to the 45) What other exercises do you do? Sure you can lose fat when using supps. As for the rest of the question could you clearify it more? |

| Rank: New Member | O ok, thank you. Actually that was most of my question. I basically want teh abs ripped. So would joggin be enough to get em ripped? or is there more to it? and how many times a week should i run and for how long. I currently run about 1 mile 3 times a week (dont have any more free time because of college finals) But i will be done with school in 3 weeks so im tryin to figure out how to start working on the problem as soon as I get out of school hehe. I was invited to a foam party. It's in late June, so i was wondering if I could at least have no gut by then. How much running and how many sets/reps of crunches would u suggest? |

A superset routine that breaks the body into parts and lasts about an hour and some cardio on top of that would work very well. I think that would burn more fat then just jogging. |

| Im not a cardio fan, well not a running fan, so Im not sure what you should do in terms of miles-o-running. One thing I do know is that you have to be around like 7-10(?)% BF in order for the Abs to appear the way you want them to, so figure out your BF in order for you to know where you starting from. Check out a supplement company and look into thermo-genics to help lose the BF. Look for an Ephedrine/Caffiene/Aspirin stack - if you can get that in the states. Im not sure what else to say - Whos the cardio-freak out there? Last edited by TAURUS; 04-28-2005 at 08:19 PM. |

Gender: | O, yeah and cardio is good but don't do cardio at the same time you lift weights. If you lift at night do cardio in the morning or visa versa. |
