Default Protein Help.. Nitro Tech vs ON

Okay since im about to run out of protein and i was looking up the nutritional facts i was comparing my nitro tech to my shipmates optimum nutrition. i hear how ON is good and cheap but this is what i noticed. with nitro tech you take 2 scoops 3x a day and the 2 scoops = 40g of protein. but ON has you take only 1 scoop 3x a day at 23g of protein. the 40 vs 23 makes the nitrotech seem alot better to me. am i missing somthing?

Well, I think almost all Muscletech products are overpriced and have outragous claims. The majority of people use ON because as you stated, it is cheap and has a great taste.

As far as the protein breakdown, if you think about it ON has more than Nitrotech. Both have about the same scoop size according the the nutritional labels. You are taking 2 scoops to get 40 with Nitrotech while if you took 2 scoops of ON you are getting 46 grams. You can always take double the serving of a protein, I think most people (like me) use more than one of ON in order to get around ~50 grams of protein in their PWO shakes anyhow.

So my recommendation is get the ON protein and just use two scoops in your shakes. Just avoid the Cookies and Cream flavor, that stuff tastes like ass.

ON is much better for Sleazy's reasons above. And I wouldn't go by "recommended" doses for protein. You know how much protein is each scoop (20 NT, 23 ON). You take as many scoops a day as you need to supplement the amount of protein you get from regular food to acheive your deisred protein level for the day.
