Default question regarding GNC's MegaMen multi-vitamin?

firstly, is it any good? I haven't bought it yet.

and it says at the back that the serving is 2 capsules. should i be taking 2 capsules or just one?

I've been using the Mega Men Sport for about a year now. Honestly, I can't say that it's any better than anything Wal-Mart sells. I liked the sport version because it had extra amino acids added. At 290 lbs, I take three a day versus the recommended two. Again, no big difference.

As soon as this bottle that I have now runs out, I plan to switch to Animal Packs since there seems to be more positive info out there.

Another thing about Mega Men....at least at our GNC. The folks that work there are VERY pushy about trying to sell Mega Men. I assume the same is for the ladies. It doesn't matter what I am buying, the clerk always redirects me to Mega Men. At one point I told the clerk I was taking something else, and she proceeded to tell me why Mega Men was better. I even started lying to her that I had plenty just so she'd leave me alone.

STAY AWAY FROM THOSE GUYS... They are commission driven ass holes. Nothing more, mega man is just like any other multi vitamin but with a fancy name on it that is over priced.. Centrum is good, you can go to any other places that have multi vitamins. Try Walmart or go here... www.vitaminworld.com. Just stay away from GNC unless you have a lot of money to waste.

The only really good selling point for the mega men is that you take two a day. It is supposed to have a time release effect...like any other vitamin. But it's nice to be able to get the nutrients and stuff for more than just a few hours at one point in the day. I take one in the morning and one after my workout. That's the purpose of taking two...you get the nutrients spread out throughout the day.

The sport is a worse vitamin than the plain mega men. The BCAAs in the sport vitamin are negligible. The plain mega men has anti-oxidants, which the sport lacks. It's also cheaper. I think there was just a dollar increase on the plain mega men vitamins last week.

Like other people said, you can get an equally good vitamin elsewhere and probably for less money. Just compare the labels...it's easy. The Animal Pak is good.
