Gender: | Hey guys, I'm new to the board and was just curious to see if you could suggest some supplements for me. I might already be taking what I need to and if I'm not feel free to throw some suggestions out. First off, I just got back into working out at a gym again. Its been a couple of years though, so I am working my way back into the routine. I have been going for a month now, 3 times a week. 23 years old 6'0 205 I lift three days a week, I try and get some cardio in as well a few times a week. And I also play hockey (8 years) every weekend and sometimes more during my college season. So technically I still get exercise, even though I haven't been in a gym for a couple years. Right now I am on... A multivitamin Fish Oil Omega 3 & 6 ON Whey Protein Higher Power Green Tea Extract I am about to buy CellMass from BSN (is this even worth it by the way) If there is anything I could also be taking let know, throw some stuff out there and I will read up on them. By the way, I am looking to lose some fat, but I am also lifting to keep the muscle I have. I know you can't lose fat and gain muscle at the same time, right? So I am at least keeping the muscle, while I am trying to lose some fat. I don't have much to lose, but some. Thanks in advance! |

| i like cellmass...but it is kinda pricy...i only take it because im scared that if i try something else it wont work as well...but thats me. you cant go wrong with cee or mono in bulk. i personally prefer cee over mono....again thats just me. for the first few months i would would stick to the basics like creatine, multi-vitas, and protien. AGAIN thats just me; i dont know near as much as some other guys here so take some time and read up some other treads befor you go out and buy some supps. |

Gender: | So CellMass isn't worth it pretty much...I've read reviews where it says its not and then I have read some good reviews on it. Maybe some bulk CEE would be just as good. What exactly is the dextrose and maltodextrine for? |

Gender: | ok well one change...I am taking naNO Vapor from MT instead of Cellmass. If I don't like it, I can return it so no worries. But interesting thing about it is that it already has maltodextrin in it. |

| the maltodextrin and dextrose are quick aborbing carbs to refill your muscle glycogen (fuel) after your workout, it will spead growth and recovery from your workouts. It as also been shown to aid in power output if used before your workout in a smaller dose. the reason your incredibly overpriced Muscle Tech product probrably has maltodextrin in it is because creatine mono needs a glucose transporter to make it to the blood stream ... malto or dextro would work for that. |
