Walmart's protein is good enough. They had fish oil 200sg for $5.47. You will be able to get cheaper vitamins also. That's all you really need... I believe they sell creatine also. If you do shop at GNC, prices will be higher until gold card week is over........ If you decide to anyway, ON's 100% whey is on sale for an almost decent price. And if you get your vitamins there, don't get the Sport. Get the plain Mega Men..it's a better vitamin. Unless the Sport is cheaper, which I don't think it is...I think it's on sale for the same price as the regular. And if you really want to get a LOT more for your money, then shop at nutraplanet.com or bulknutrition.com Overall, you really only need some whey and a multivitamin. Fish oil is good to have also..and creatine if you decide to do that. |

Gender: | When you are supplement shopping is a fat burner a good idea? I've looked at several of them and the majority have an appetite suppressant. If you are trying to increase muscle mass you are trying to eat a small meal every 2-3 hrs, wouldn't that defeat the purpose? I’ve also noticed a lot of them inhibit the ability of your body to absorb the majority of the fat you ingest. As discussed in several different threads by Eric3237, starving your self puts your body into survival mode in which your body stores everything extra as fat. Wouldn’t this cause a similar scenario? I’m just wondering because if I’m totally off base on this I would like to know. |
