I've usually made my MRP's only for once or twice a day.. My favorite was 40 milk protein isolate (which is 80 casein/20 whey) 40 egg white, 20 psyllium husk which is VERY cheap.. Something like $8.40 per pound (@ 15 servings per). From there I'd always add a few tbsp of olive oil and BINGO! Or you could toss in 1/2 cup of oatmeal and BLAMO!
That's a hell of a lot better than any of the MRPs sold at GNC. I wish someone would make decent products. And sell them. MHP almost did something good when they made Dark Matter. But they f'ed it up by not adding enough protein...and the protein that's in it doesn't have a broad spectrum of aminos.. And it's what overpriced. Ok, rant off.

use your idea ross86
make a protein that is exactly what you think the perfect protein should be and sell it to your buddies
doesn't seem like too much of a bad idea, and you know what you're talking about when it comes to protein
make a decent product and sell it

I know where some cows are. If you go milk them, then I will start working on isolating the protein.

If I could get the bulk supplies cheap enough to do it, then I might consider it. But it would take time. Time = money. And I'm poor on both counts until I graduate.

ha if only it was as easy as milking a cow..
but for what i'm trying to do, whey concentrate and isolate are the best candidates?
i usually drink a shake pre workout and post so i have protein to feed off of during and after my workout
but as for the creatine monohydrate, waxy maize is the best source of high GI carbs?

Yep, whey concentrates and/or isolates are the way to go.

I prefer WMS. And I think most other people do. "Best" is one of those relative terms... I do think that WMS is one of the better options though, so it's a safe choice. Give it a try

Try starting a new thread. There is a button titled "New Thread" in all of the forums. It doesn't make sense to clutter up a bunch of old threads...

do research
a lot of research
do 10 minutes of research for every thread you put this on and you'll probably find the answer
