Default Waxy Maze Starch

I am trying to understand the benefits of Waxy Maze Starch. Is it more beneficial for recovery (to replenish glycogen levels)? Or is it a good source of carbs for energy? Or both?

I am looking for a good carb source to consume before (and during) my workout for energy that will not get convert to fat easily.

Thanks,
Warren

Some here have found it benificial as a pre workout suppliment, but personally I think its much better suited to post workout nutrition. I have also used it on carb ups durring ckd, it also worked well for that. I hope that helps.
