| Rank: Bantamweight | The claim of NO products is that they dilate the blood vessels so more blood can get to the muscles and, thus, replenish them to a greater degree and quicker than without. Here is what I don't understand: with my limited understanding of the body, I assume we have a finite supply of blood that is always in use. That is, there is no "reserve tank" where blood is stored until we need it. So, if the NO products are opening the vessels, why don't ALL the vessels dilate? How does the body know which ones to do that to? And, to me, the all-important question: If my arms and chest are all pumped with all this more-than-usual blood, where is it coming from? Are other body parts being short-changed of their supply of blood? And when the blood leaves the area and gets back to the normal-width vessels, doesn't it back up? And if it didn't back up, I could envision a rapid increase in blood pressure to accommodate all the extra blood returning to its roots. |

Gender: | I don't get it either. The whole business of what people say about PUMPS in general and blood saturating the muscle doesn't really make any sense to me. If you fill something up then that doesn't INCREASE the flow to it, lol. Like you said, you get a back up. You fill up your septic tank and it ain't going to work better. You'll have sewage in your yard. |

Gender: | Oh, I know, every time there is a thread that has any mention of a pump in it someone comes along and quotes Arnold Don't even get me started on liquid creatine. The last two tests I saw over at consumer lab on them...NO creatine found. |

| The science to most NO products is found within it's contents. For example, can anyone tell me the active ingredient of NO products before we get started. Retorical question! The active ingredient is AAKG. I wont' get into what AAKG is right now, but I can tell you it works. If anyone has ever used AAKG "the correct way" Believe me...you will notice a difference in pumps versus taking no supplements at all. It's like working out without taking protien. Your body will not grow. |

| It's funny how everyone that lifts is now a medical doctor. If your coming to this site for medical advise, you need to recheck you mental state. My advise, if you don't know how a product works...then don't take it or ask some with a little more proof than posting some words on a blog. Where's all the BB competitors? |
