Default Would like a decent MRP

If you read my post in General, I just go a new job and the hours.commute are not exactly conducive to great eating and getting to the gym.

I am in need of an MRP that I can take sometime late afternoon to tide me over. I don't need any mega-calorie stuff; just a good MRP.

I like having full control of exactly what goes in a good MRP. That's why I go to trueprotein.com and make my own. I suggest you do the same, and save you a bit of cash in the process. Click Here My suggestion is to at least mix in some micellar casein or at least some (cheaper) calcium caseinate with some whey and malto...Or just straight protein and no carbs. My shakes are always 40/40/20 (egg white, milk isolate, micellar casein). Tastes terrific and has a better amino profile and quality that far surpasses anything premade out there.

I second, however I would suggest oats instead of malto.

Sometimes I like to make very tasteless protein bars loaded with egg whites just to supplement my meal on the go. I normally take chicken breast or extra lean beef/chicken with sweet potatoes when I am out of the house.

Well, I mentioned this to my girlfriend and she bought me some Myoplex stuff. Looks okay. Twenty servings, so I'll try it for a while.

I've tried the Myoplex before. It tends to become super thick so watch out for that (sorry if your talking about the Ready to Drink).

If you mix it in advance and wait a while before you drink it...you'll have to use a spoon and chew it . Otherwise it's ok.

You may like it, but I sure didn't.

Any reason why you never acknowledge anyone's advice they give you? Perhaps "I don't want to order online"..Or "Thanks for the advice, but I'm going to go another route?" Even a "I hate you and have you on ignore" I just noticed that in every thread you ask for advice. It hurts my feelings.

Try either Prolab Lean Mass Complex (Matrix) MRP's or Labrada Lean Body MRP's. They're both really good tasting and the nutrition in them is stellar. No maltodextrin!!

Thanks, all, for your time, consideration and advice...
