Default B12 injection

I went to the doctor the other day and picked up a script for some B12 injection (I know of some people that say they can pick it up OTC , but not here). I've been reading about it and thought I would give it a shot. So far I've taken 2 shots ( Wed and Fri ) at 1ml a dose.

So far I have noticed my sleep is better and I am no longer lethargic , something that I have felt for a long , long time. Being on night shift I'm not having to take my midnight nap . I come home and stay up for about 1hr then go to bed for about 5hrs , wake up refreshed as I've gotten a great sleep. My motovation has come back to do other projects around the house , finally some shit is getting done

I know it's only been 4 days ( 2 shots ) , but this is working big time. I've also noticed my appetite has come up quite a bit. My weight hasn't changed and as long as I keep my foods clean I dont think it will.

Price is $5 for 10ml and this will last for about 3 weeks. Although I'm covered , I would still pay this even if I wasn't.

I also gave my wife a shot today and I will give her another one on Monday . We will monitor how she feels and I wont tell her much of my findings until later as I don't want to plant anything in her head.

Default Quick Write up about B12

CYANOCOBALAMIN INJECTION , USP ( VITAMIN B12)

Pharmacology: Vitamin B12 is essential for growth , cell reproduction, hematopiesis , nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis.

Within 48 hours after injection of 100 to 1000mcg of vitamin b12 , 50 to 98% of the injected dose may appear in the urine. The major portion is excreted within the first 8 hours.

Warnings : Patients who have early Leber's disease ( hereditary optic nerve atrophy ) have been found to suffer severe and swift optic atrophy when treated with vitamin B12.

Hypokalemia and sudden death may occure when severe megaloblastic anemia is treated intensively. Lack of therapeutic response may be due to infection, uremia, concomitant treatment with chloramphenicol or misdiagnosis.

Precautions: Before administering B12 , an intradermal test dose is reommended for patients known to be sensitive to cobalamines. Doses of B12 exceeding 10 mcg daily may produce a hematologic respnse in patients who have a folate deficiency.

I've heard that b vitamins are one of the reasons ZMA supplements help with sleep.

You can get a 250ml bottle of injectable b-complex or b12 for about $5 here. It's super cheap.
