Back of knees hurting
The back of my knees are tight at both the insertion point of my hams and my calves. Just suddenly one day I noticed it slightly and it's built up over the last three weeks. Initially I stopped all leg workouts thinking I may have strained something but now I don't think so. I wonder if the creatine or other supplements are tightening up my legs back there?

Do you do any cardio?
I don't think any supplement like creatine is the cause of your problems

Not much cardio. Just 3 minutes warmup after stretching a bit and before my complete stretching for the workout.
The only other cardio I do is running my mouth.

I don't know what your rep scheme is, but maybe you should lower the weight and move your reps up to 12-15. The lactic acid buildup will help heal your joints to some small amount. Try 2 weeks of 15, 2 weeks of 10, then start the low reps with alot of weight. It should give your knees much needed time to recover.

I'll give that a try though I have given them about three weeks off as it is. Maybe some work would help them.
I'll do as you suggest and go light and higher reps.

It's most likely due to the Max-OT style workouts. Alot of people find it esp. hard on their joints. I wouldn't recommend the program to anyone with under 4 years experience. Try and stick to the program, but for legs, take the high rep route and over the course of 4-5 weeks, gradually increase the weight and decrease the reps.

I'll do that. The pain started a few days after an especially intense leg day that included a balls to the wall calves workout. It's possible I overdid it but with three weeks gone by I'm a bit worried.
I'll probably have to amputate.

Update: Over a period of time it didn't seem my knees where improving. Then I started to notice them getting better, slowly. Now I only feel some pain if I twist my knee to test the waters. I'll give it more time before doing anything other then really light work.
I guess the one day that I worked calves really hard and then caught for a few of our pitchers strained them both pretty bad.

Could be a sign of hyperextension. When you do leg workouts try not to overextend. Lay off the heavy weight for a while and go to a specialist. Just to make sure. Take glucosamine, MSM a,d conjointrin to help with joint pain as well. It is easy to over extend your knees while doing squats or presses. Wrap your knees also if you plan on keeping on with your routine.
