Bulk CEE Dosing
I had a question for those of you who are or have used bulk CEE Powder. I was reading up on some other boards and they say around 3g is the right dosage of CEE powder within a day. I was wondering if this is correct since I haven't been able to find a definitive answer anywhere.
Also, how do you split up your dosage in your Pre Workout and Post Workout shakes? Do you actually just toss it in with your shakes or do you take it with some other type of flavor hider (since you don't need juice or anything with CEE).
Any help would be great and they were right about this stuff, it tastes like absolute ass.
I toss in a shake for a pre and post drink.. and use about 4-5gm combine. give or take.. it worked for me and I don't respond to creatine mono very well.
The thing about CEE v mono is that CEE gets almost entirely absorbed, whereas mono runs about 30-40 %. (I could be wrong about the %, but I know it is considered significantly less than CEE.) The rest gets peed out.
You really only need 2-4g a day of CEE. I take 3/4 tsp (which according to the canister is 1.23g (410 mg per 1/4 tsp)). I either throw it in my shake, or gulp it down with about 6-8 oz of water. It does taste like ass--or, rather what I think ass might taste like--but the aftertaste is gone pretty quickly.
Oh, BTW, the powder I have used is the bulknutrition 1000g canister.
I emailed Mike a while back and he said that different containers have different serving sizes. Mine was 840mg per 1/4 tsp. Now, I think the effective dosage (since it's cheap) is 3 grams pre/post workout. Almost every pill and powder out there is about 2.1-2.5 grams per serving. I put mine in my chocolate protein shake and it's not as overpowering.
Just a little update about masking the taste of this stuff. I tried taking it with Crystal lite like hrdgain suggested on the BN boards and it definately works. I honestly cannot taste the CEE. I also found it pretty interesting that this stuff disolves almost instantly in water and that you don't need to stir it like other creatines.
