Default Creatine choices, and other suggestions

Ok, so I caved in and decided to try a full on creatine supplement. I chose the ever so hated Cell-Tech. I finished the bottle and was suprised to see that I saw results. Yet, seeing as so many dont like the product, and the fact that it actually worked, I was wondering what else others have tried and had even better results from. I am also currently taking MRI's Black Powder for pre, Mass XXX Whey Protein, and 2 Animal Paks a day. Mostly looking on getting bigger yet keeping the gut down.

I also had a question on what others thought on running. I have heard that over doing the running is going to shed off muscle. I run 3-5 miles a day to every other day. I have a feeling it is slowing my goal of bulking up, which is ok, as long as it isnt going to stop me in my tracks...

IMO there is nothing wrong with CellTech other then the price.

I just buy pure creatine mono and mix that with dextrose or WMS.

I used to try out all sorts of expensive creatine based products, but in the end it all came down to training, diet and rest. Just my .05

Thanks for the feedback, yeah I was going to head to gnc today to pick up this months supplements, and wanted to go the cheapest yet best way out. I think I want to try the pure creatine mono, what was that you mixed it with? I heard it can have some negative side effects if its not taken with a juice of some sort.

Any thoughts on running too much?

If your going to do that much running and want to bulk , then your calories will have to be higher. I'm not sure what they are at now (maybe they're high enough) But calories in must be high than calories out if you want to gain.

If you really want the cheapest way out go and buy some bulk creatine powder (mono or cee) from an online retailer. Even with shipping you will save a lot as GNC will overcharge you for less product. Places like Nutraplanet, DPSNutrition, or Trueprotein are good options.

Cardio is all about expending those extra calories and keeping the fat gain under control if your bulking. If your goal is to bulk up as fast as possible then maybe your overdoing it but it all depends on how many calories your consuming daily and ultimately how many calories your cardio sessions are burning. Get a rough calculation on both of those numbers and you will be able to adjust accordingly.

I actually have a +ipod that tracks my calories when I am running, so I should be able to figure out my overall calories. Been a lot of help guys, thanks!

There's nothing wrong with cell-tech other the price. I'm really liking my dynamtize micronized creatine mono, especially for the price.

As for the running, you're fine to run but if you're trying to gain muscle you have to make sure you eat enough calories to counter the caloric deficit you create running.

75g of dextrose is a bit much for most people. You need PWO carbs, but not always that much. If you're going to continue to shop at GNC, one option is the Creadrive. It's essentially the same thing as Cell Tech. For $14.99, it's 4lbs, 40 servings, 34g of dextrose, 5g creatine, 1g taurine, & electrolytes...and if you have a gold card, which I assume you do, then it would be $11.99. I'm actually considering buying some...

I agree with everyone else though. It's better to buy your stuff in bulk. You will save in the long run. I work at GNC and even I don't shop there.
