Food Enzymes (?)

I've heard many times that the body can only absorb so much protein, carbs, etc. How might I be able to expand my body's ability to absorb what I put into it?

If I have some of these at my house (ordered them a while back), should I take them?

Based on what I know about enzymes, it seems they would help. But I'm not sure.

i throw back a few once in awhile....

i'm not sure that it will do what you think it will do. just don't eat like 100g of protein at one meal...i usually keep mine around fifty grams.

They will help your body break down meals better thus increasing utilization.

I would take digestive enzymes if your having a hard time digesting big doses of protein, your feeling bloated after meals, or your food is not coming out fully digested. Some people take them when their caloric intake gets pretty high to help aid in digesting the large amounts of food they are taking in.

They aren't 100% necessary, but they won't hurt you unless you over do it. Just make sure if your taking a vitamin multipack that your not doubling up because a lot of the packs already digestive enzyme tablets.

^^^ Yep.

I feel bloated after eating because I throw back a lot of cals at every meal. The downside is that after eating a big meal at night, I won't sleep well. If I take digestive enzymes, it helps to ease the bloat and I sleep better.

It's good to take the enzymes when you eat red meat.
