Question Gain fast Supplement

hi I have a question about a supplement that I was takin for a short while and am thinkin about takin again called gain fast..http://www.supplements101.com/store/...nigainfast3100
I wanted to know if it's good or bad for you cause it says it's an anabolic weight gainer and I keep thinkin it has somethin related to steroids or some shit like that..

All I see in that list is a a decent amount of protien, and a shit load of carbs. It is ANABOLIC in the sense that food is anabolic. But by no means is this anything special or related to steroids.

The problem I see with this is its not specificly telling you the types of carbs that are in there, it just says sugar. You would be better off getting some whey protien isolate, and mixing in your own dextrose/maltodextrine, or waxy maize starch.

by the way, great signature brother man.

Other ingredients:
ProtoCarb Plus (Universal's High Performance Carbohydrate Complex - consisting of a scientific blend of high energy glucose polymers, maltodextrin (long-chained complex carbohydrates), pure crystalline fructose, and dextrose), Super Protein EX (Universal's Superior Protein Blend - consisting of the highest biological value peptide-bonded casein, pharmaceutical grade pancreatic digest of whey protein (lactalbumin), and egg white (albumin) protein - with naturally occurring branched-chain amino acids L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine, AGC (Universal's proprietary Anabolic Growth Complex - consisting of Anabolic Gaining Agents, Metabolic Optimizers, and Performance Factors), Advanced Vitamin/Mineral Complex, Medium Chain Triglycerides, Lipotropics and Natural Flavors.

Colostrum (they mean bovine) is the pre-milk fluid produced from the mother's mammary glands during the first 72 hours after birth. Colostrum provides life-supporting immune and growth factors that insure the health and vitality of the newborn. It is claimed that these immunity and growth factors are beneficial to humans as well.

Plant Sterols: Campesterol, etc.
BIOCHEMISTRY : Chemically, phytosterols are vegetable analogues of cholesterol. Phytosterols are found in a variety of vegetables, including grains, nuts, seeds, and fruit. BTW, they MAY promote muscle growth, IF your muscles are made up of the vascular, liver, and kidney cells of a rat .

PHYSIOLOGY : Research has shown that phytosterols interfere with cholesterol absorption and thus prevent the rise in serum cholesterol. Clinical trials with humans showed that eating phytosterols reduced serum cholesterol levels. Phytosterols in addition reduce serum cholesterol by possibly inhibiting the intestinal reabsorption of circulating cholesterol.

Here is the pdr page on them:

Just some info to help...it looks like a pretty decent weightgainer but whether all the fancy added ingredients like colostrum, plant sterols, and herbs will really help any I don't know. More likely it'll just make it more expensive and you'd still be better off doing what HARDGAIN suggested.
