Go the Pro hormone route?
Hey guys i was messing with the idea of going the pro hormone route. I hear the ups and downs i know alot of people who have taken them etc. Basically i am getting pretty big naturally but fat is the hardest thing for me. I can gain muscle no problem but i cant drop weight worth a damn. Any how i hear that pro hormones will eat fat and boost muscle so i was thinking of taking a cycle just to cut fat and get a bit buffer. Ill be 21 in august so im pretty much done growing height wise and all that. Ill put up some crappy pics of me and you guys can let me know what you think i should do. Thanks ahead of time i know there is alot of info comming :)
Oh and one more thing which should i take and look out for?
If you're gaining muscle easily, then I would keep doing what you're doing. No point in preparing for a cycle imo. If you put on more muscle you'll 'appear' to have lost some weight since your muscles are getting bigger.
Something to think about...what will happen once you're done the cycle? will you put on fat again? is it going to be temporary or long term fat reduction? If you're doing this to lose fat in the short term, only to regain it, then I would rethink your plan :D
O someone was telling me the muscle eats the fat in the process well that lame lol. Its rough though cuz i been doing cardio now for about 2 solid months of 35mina day 5-6 days a week and its barely burning lol. I was thinking of getting back into doing MMA and BJJ and stuff so i was trying to drop weight but i decided im going back to school for now in the fall and wont have time to train in those sports as much so i wanna just get buff again. I guess the fat will slowly come off though because it definitely has been i just wanna drop the gut for the summer lol. As does 95% of the rest of America lol. But yeah what your saying does sound true. Wonder what else i should take though im only on Optimum whey that taste like crap but works and some 1 a days. Any thoughts?
Muscle does help burn fat. But if you're gaining right now, then you really don't need any 'help' to accomplish that. Maybe you should try looking at HIIT cardio (high intensity interval training), rather than slow cardio.
I'd suggest going to fitday.com and setting up a food log so you can track a diet. Weightloss eventually boils down to calories in vs calories out, if calories out are greater than calories in, you lose weight.
Multi's are good and whey is bullet proof, usually.
yea i been trying to cut out the carbs and stuff but i been floating at the 224-228 mark for like almost 2 months lol. I mean im pretty sure its not fat because im getting buff but yeah. Ill check out that calorie thing its hard to keep track though. i gotta get some good recipes or something.
The forum has a great nutrition section. It could also be the problem of what carbs you're eating and when you're eating them. Read and you'll see what I mean :D
i know there all the good and bad times to have them but yeah i dont have like a real schedule right now so my bed time and all that is all diffrent all the time so i really throws me off. But yeah ill check that out to thanks a ton.
Honestly I would not recommend prohormones if you are just looking for fat loss. There is alot involved in taking them and most people jump into them for the wrong reasons (this being one of them) and don't treat them with the respect they deserve.
You seem to have a pretty good base but could probably benefit from a cut or at least a diet restructure. Now is a great time to start this before the summer as well.
From some of your comments I think you maybe need to relook at your nutrition which is most peoples problem. If you can handle a new diet or just want to follow something that is completely laid out for you by a good nutritionist (Chuck Rudolph) I would recommend checking out http://www.scivationbooks.com . They are all free ebooks and even though they recommend their supplements in them they are not fully necessary. They have a lot of well written out and researched diets that I think you could benefit from as they are not really fad diets but based on healthy nutrition and good eating.
Something like their Lifestyle Diet is one I would recommend to anyone who wants to shed some weight without having crazy restrictions as it can easily be followed by most people. This is a great starting point for people new to the nutrition side as they explain healthy fats, good carbs, metabolism boosting, etc and if anything you can carry some of that knowledge into structuring your own diet. I have done the Lifestyle Diet which was personalized for me by Chuck and have recommend the basic book to friends who wanted controlled fat loss and maintenance. The Cut Diet does wonders if you can handle carb restrictions and are looking for faster fat loss but it requires more rigidity in your diet and not everyone can follow it through. I believe I have a Cut Diet journal log from over a year ago in the journal section if you want a honest day by day breakdown. If anything these are great jumping off points to taking their laid out plans and tweaking it to your needs.
