Default has anyone tried muscle milk

i had a few gift certificates to gnc, so i decided to give in and switch up the protein shakes.

a friend of mine has been using it for a week and it seems to be helping him a little more than just normal whey.

it seems like a good idea, creatine precursors to help the body produce more, casein so you can take it before sleep and remain anabolic, whey, malodextrin, all that stuff.

but.. the package is just like, one huge advertisement.

BURN MUSCLE!!

LOSE FAT!!

NO TRANS FATTY ACIDS!!

but supposedly it dramatically helps to gain, "even for the hardest gainers'" like me. and because of the higher fat content than most protein supplements, it does taste a little better.

anyone had any experience with this stuff?

their flavors are a nice change from the ordinary chocolate/vanilla/unflavored, but by the time i got to the bottom of my first 2lb tub of cookies and creme i was sick of it. i wouldn't say that it was any higher quality than some of hte other proteins out there. i probably wont' be using it again

i just started working out again, and went to the vitamin store and got a big bottle of creatine and a jug of muscle milk. It was actually a lot cheaper then a lot of the protiens they had there (with my membership card, they have a lot of really good deals at Vitamin World). I got a good sized jug for $20 marked down from $35. It will probably last me like 3 weeks. It taste great, and it has 33g of protien, 2000mg of L-glutamine, among many other things.

My friend told me great things about it, so i figured id try it. So far i like it alot, taste great too. I mix it in milk, but im gonna switch to water after this jug, too much fat.

Ill post back on here in a month or so since ive only been using it for about 2 weeks.
