Update on the progress... in the last 5 weeks.. I have lost 17lbs of fat and gone from 187lbs to 170lbs! Look loads better already.. I've gained 1" on both arms and chest.. and lost 2" of fat from around my middle.. I have no muscle definition yet as I still have another 16lbs of fat to shift! and another few inchs of muscle to put on.. I started very slowly the 1st few weeks (as I was out of shape and aching too much to start with) so I didnt see any real signs of progress until the last 3 weeks and now I'm ready to get this thing moving forward and seeing some real progress

Hi Guys, I have only been training 6 weeks.. and the 1st 2 weeks were only to get me started again after a long lay off! I turned into a giant fat cookie monster! lol.. but after the last 3 weeks of getting my diet...training... and suppliments right.. I am now looking way better... I've lost a lot of fat! (still a long way to go) but am happy after only 3 weeks of real hard training.. and a lot of cardio! (I hate cardio.. but have to do it!) Here's my 1st update pic.. the fat is slowly going and the muscle is on its way back! Cant wait to see another month from now and I hope to gain more muscle and lost a lot more fat by then.

Before (6 weeks ago)

and now starting to see some progress and less fat!

I don't understand this, your going to ask for help from everyone for free and then when you find something that is supposedly "amazing" your not going to share it with the other members...wtf is that?

Why do new starters assume to think they need to take some form of supplement to TONE UP and generally get back from not being fat / unhealthy ??? All these new members do not know better but to buy supplements which totally over dramatize their product ! BULK ... whatever this product is that you wont share with this forum isnt some form of legal pro hormone or similar ! Because at the stage your at you wouldnt be ready for such a product ! In your case the only thing I would advise would be to buy a NO product or even a little creatine ! Your updated picture looks ok but as you agree your a long way from bulding quality muscle mass. TONE up first ... you still have amples of weight to lose ! Your pictures before you stopped training are your goal so when you get to that stage maybe then try something in the line of supplements to help your bulking stage ! To me it kinda looks like your attempting to bulk before you have a good starting frame.

You are trying to walk before you can crawl ! ... Aim on losing the gut and tone the arms ! All can be done perfectly natural and quick. Good luck

Hi Evan,

I havent been on here since my last post about 6 months ago.. sorry I havent updated... and you are 100% right in everything you said... when I started I thought suppliments were the answer... but the longer I trained the more I realised the right food and just whey, omega 3, and a multivit is all i needed.

I am looking back and I am again sorry I wrote about a wonder drug! It wasnt at all.. I can tell you it was something I tried before and I really believed it was the reaosn I got in such good shape.. but its all about the training and diet that does that!

The supplients I didnt mention was by a company called... Cybergenetics and it isnt illegal...my many varied types of suppliments in a kind of ' bundle' pack that you take as a course....and I did use the whole course and I also used the next course they do as well.. but i dont recommend it now! Now I know better! Dont waste your money on any wonder suppliments... its a waste of money. The only ones you need are the ones I mentioned..in my opinion. I wouldnt ever take steriods...but nothing agaisnt anyone that does.. its there body.

Anyways.. my end of year pic it was taken in October but i looked very much the same in Nov... I did train hard...and worked out consistently..and gave it my full attention...I stayed on track and learned a lot by my own mistakes.. and this is how I looked by 8 months... (as I stopped training end of Nov...but will start again this month)

Also.. Evan... I was 41" belly and I went all the way down to 31"! I have since gone up again to 33" after Xmas.. but I enjoyed the break from the diet over xmas.. ;)

All the best in your training this year everyone.
