Recovery supps
Am looking to get a good supp for recovery, was looking at "MRI WAR". was wondering, how is this supp? and suggestions for others would be great.

You'll want approximately a 3:1 ratio of carbs to protein. Low fat. Check out the weight gainers. Reduce the serving size to around...60g of carbs/20g of protein. That's a pretty optimal PWO shake that will aid in recovery.
MRI War is overpriced crap and so are most of the other supplements marketed towards recovery. The main difference between them and weight gainers is the price and the extra fillers that don't do anything. |
Or you could just mix some whey protein with gatorade. I usually mix whey protein with skim milk, chocolate syrup, creatine, and a banana.
But don't over-think this. Just give your body some quick digesting protein and carbs (no fat) and you'll be fine. |
right onnnn.
appriciate it fellas |
myogenix after shock is a real good post workout supplement..32 grams protein and 30g carbs per serving..you got your BCAA's, kre-alk creatine + glutamine and glucosamine for soreness/joint pain..and its CHEAP
