Shakers

I've found that the shakers I've used suck. They leak. Recently I've been using the medium sized Gatorade bottles.

Do you guys use shakers or another device?

I use the shakers I got from Max Muscle. There great. Never leak.

I've just used the regular tupperware ones for $2 at the grocery store and it hasn't ever been an issue.

i use a shaker, but after a while they start to suck...the rubber ring in the top doesnt fit right or breaks and u have to buy a new one. if im to lazy to find mine i just use a water bottle has the same effect and u never have to wash it just throw it out

ON the same note, how do you guys transport your powder for mid-day shakes and such? Do you have small containers to keep it dry until you dump it into a shaker and mix?

i carry it in a bag. this one time i saw this cool looking shakers that had a chamber on the top that u could keep your supplements in and the liquid on the bottom and then combined them when u wanted to. i think it was made my nautilus if anyones interested

I'm thinking there must be some kind of containers that are just big enough to handle about 3-4 scoops. If so then I could pre-package everything in several of those and re-use the same shaker all day.

Maybe I could actually visit a 'store' and see if they have them instead of just wondering day after day.

I've used the same shaker for over a year now. I think I got it as DPS Nutrition but I can't remember. GNC actually has some decent ones too, the only worthwhile thing I have ever bought there. I don't know where you get yours from but alot of the free ones you get with supplement orders suck. BN's are completely useless and I have a stack of 10 of them collecting dust.

WonderMonkey 05-03-2005 08:30 AM

I admit it's the free one's I have gotten.

Ah-ha!

I'll bet Meijer or Wal-Mart has similar.

I'll pre-package all my stuff and .... stuff.

Same here. I just buy the tupperware ones at Walsmart. I found that they work better than the shakers do.

I mix mine right before I go to work. I have a little igloo cooler that I carry.

I use those little interactive nutrition ones, they're alright.

WonderMonkey 05-05-2005 10:06 AM

I got some little containers from Meijers. Also a funnel. It's going to work out well.
