On the satiety thing I will second the thing about fiber foods. However I have seen some resarch studies indicating that lean proteins have more satiety.

I recenty saw this new "satiety index' by Holt (developer of GI and SI) and it seems to back this up...but fruits were the highest. But it is really a matter of info on individual foods...read the article to see what I'm saying.

Also Mendosa mentions that nutritiondata.com has now taken part of this on board (combined with other research):

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Good stuff all the way around guys, thanks so much. I will look into a fiber suppliment, seems like that may help. Also, eric very good read on satiety, although the first link was hard to read, those google sense adds covered up half the page.

I'm not getting any adds at all. Sorry. There are other articles on it as well.

Most browsers have the option of turning off advertisements. That's what I do. I hate those things.

Yeah, I've managed somehow to block most of that stuff I just don't actually know how it works . Also, maybe third party cookies have something to do with it? I have those blocked as well. I'm not versed at all on all this though.
