Weight Gainer Shakes
 

Hey! Could anyone recommend a good Weight Gain shake? I'm currently using Promax's Progain Extreme. I basically want to know if this is any good or if I should change, and if so, to what?

I'm currently using this as my PWO 'meal', just in case that's relevant.

Not really sure...the only way to tell is to try it and find out...maybe you can let us know if its a good one. Make sure you've got a good amount of carbs in there as well as protein if your using it as a PWO meal replacement.

75% of the time, your weight gainer is as good as you pay. Not sure about your stuff, but a good gainer will help you gain muscle. A bad gainer has a lot of crap you don't need, but will still help you gain. I usually go with Optimum Serious Mass. I'd link you but I don't think I'm allowed to yet lol

You can find it pretty easy online.

Drink a gallon of milk every day.

I tend to like the products of Optimum Nutrition and Prolab. Having said that, you need to be sure you are looking over your overall nutrition and training. Changing your brand of "weight gainer" isn't going to make much difference.

I'm a big fan of MHP Up Your Mass.
No sugars so im not bloated with empty calories... only complex carbs, hits the protein mark, quality fats in the right portion. Tastes amazing and they have peanut butter now! Price is also very reasonable.

But on the other hand whole food is waaay more anabolic (and cheaper). If you have a hard time hitting meals or really need the calories then go for it but i would try to make the most of real food. Lastly, IMO... save your money and create your own concoction.
