Default What beverage should I take my protein powder with?

I have been using non-fat milk, but a few guys said there's too many sugars in milk and I should use something else.

Any suggestions?

Depends on what you want to accomplish. Milk has alot of carbs and sugars in it, so if you are trying to cut then you most likely should just be taking it with just water. If your bulking, you can probally take it with milk and be fine. I still think the best thing to do is just take it with water than add your pwo carbs like dextrose/maltodextrin so you know the exact ratios of what you are taking in.

Some brands are nasty in water though...just have to learn to live it.

i put mine in a shaker and shake it for a minute. ive heard it works out really well in a blender. if u dont have a shaker then just gradually add more and more as in add a quarter of a scoop and then stir it up then do the same thing until u get the whole scoop completely blended in and drink it

I was putting mine in a blender for a while, but it was becoming a pain in the ass. Now I just put in in a shaker. Still get some clumps, but they are few and small.

If you don't have a shaker, you can get them at GNC for like 3 or 4 bucks. It's the only thing I ever bought from GNC (way too expensive there).

I put mine in 1/3 water, 2/3 milk and never had any problems. Makes mixing easier because of the water, and tastes great due to the milk. Don't worry about the sugar, fat content of milk. Just buy fat free milk. With everything you eat in a day, the extra calories really won't do a damn thing. That's like saying if I eat a piece of my milky way before dinner, that will make me gain more fat :(
