Default When to start?

It's been 2 months since I last when to the gym, and I've lost some weight (mostly fat, but some muscle as well). Since I'm kind of thin right now, I'm gonna start to make as much gains as I can once I return, and for that I got creatine.

I'll start slowly, 1 exercise per muscle and slowly top it until I'm back to an usual routine. But what I'm wondering is:

1.- When should I start taking creatine? Right from day 1, working each muscle with only 1 exercise, or some time later, when the initial 'beginner gains' stop? Should I maximize those beginner gains with creatine or let them work alone?

2.- Should I do loading?

3.- Should I also include protein powder or a weight gainer? I took a weight gainer for some time back when I was working out, since here in my country it's easier to get it than the protein powder.

1. start whenever...doesn't matter

2. no need

3. protein is good...just make sure your diet is in order

1. Start taking creatine whenever you see your gains slow down.

2. Personally I load. Take 4 servings per day for the first 4 - 5 days, then 1 serving a day after that. And on gym days take half your serving before the workout and half your serving after the workout.

3. Just protein powder. Weight gainer is crap. You can order protein powder online at Vitamin Shoppe or something.

Why is weight gainer crap?

Real food is better, yes but life doesn't always allow 100% optimized nutrition.

Don't rely on gainers for your calories but I definitely wouldn't call them crap.

Gainers are great for breaching the limits that we all have. Even with the proper diet and forcing every meal, hitting that mark can be difficult even impossible without gainers and pros.

Eating enough is never impossible and it's not difficult after you get used to it.

Using creatine only when your gains slow down doesn't make good sense.

Weight gainer isn't crap. I use gainers more than I use straight protein powder. Both are useful.

Yeah, sorry, poor choice of words. What I mean is that if your like me and trying to take in 4000 cals/day, and live a busy life (kids,wife,work, excersize,school) ensuring that you reach your goal is challanging. Gainers are helpful when you have limited time.
