Default whey protein

hey guys. i am new here and had a quick question. i started taking the 100% whey gold about a month ago and after 2 weeks of using it i started to put on some weight even though i was still working out 6 days a week and no changes to the diet. i thought it might be muscle but i realized my clothes were fitting a little different, they were tighter...so no on the muscle. i stopped using the product and about 5 days after i stopped the wt started coming off. any ideas on this? anybody else have similar experiences?
thanks!

If you gain muscle mass you will still get bigger...same as fat gain. What is your diet like? What is your training like? If you're consuming mostly lean protein sources like chicken, turkey, steak, lean ground beef, tuna, etc I wouldn't worry about it.

Oh ya, and how much weight was it and how fast? I am gaining about 2lbs per week while on my weightgainers with a small percentage of that being fat. Other people have gained even faster then that.

Did you add the shakes in on top of your normal diet?

If your using ON's 100% whey, each scoop is 120 cals. So if your using 2 scoops per shake, and 2 shakes a day, your adding 480 cals on top of what you are already eating.

smooth. I eat 4,500-5000 calories so a few 100 from protein doesnt really matter to me much.

Wait, I dont understand what makes you think it is not muscle?
