Wrestling shoes would work really well. They're flat soled with flexibility.

I am totally w/ IronK on the flat shoes! They displace the weight over a larger surface, because the contact patch is much more than with running shoes. I personally like wide, skater shoes. I got a pair of NSS's from JCPenney, or Dillards for just under $10. I'm not complaining one bit!

I lift in skate shoes and I think they are pretty good for the money. You can wear them to the gym and out and about and still be comfortable.

I read a book that basicly you do one lift, but hold it for some time to recruit deep muscle fiber thats dormant, or something like that. I might be blowing this out of context.

But thats what I am guessing the 20 rep thing is also used for....
Wish I could remember the name of the book, read it years ago, but my dad told me to stop doing the lifts because he said it does'nt let you use the tendons fully to its potential.

Goals: Reach 190, 8 percent BF (by sept, oct, wanna get 4% for a teen bodybuilding competition)

Squat over 400, bench 300, Deadlift 350 (in which I doubt I will be able to do) but I shall PUSH myself!

Static Contraction training...

Eric3237's Sig:"Not everyone trains for strength": True. Not everyone one is smart either. Personally, I'm training to be an olympic sprinter so I can have big legs. I also like to move huge boulders because I like the way they look over there...
