Default anyone tried the P90X program?

Hi guys, I'm new around these parts, been lurking a bit, but need some help.

I have been around the gym for years on/off and have gone from as low as 155lbs to 223lbs depending on what I was trying. Right now I'm 190lbs, and am at the point that I would like to put some meat on my chest, but would like to cut/shredd. I was watching this infomercial (I know I know), but seemed to make sense, has anyone seen or used this P90X system? is it a bunch of BS? or does it actually work?? the testimonials look astonishing.

It's BS. Don't waste your money. You don't need to pay someone for "muscle confusing" and "ever changing" workouts. Most of us are cabable of coming up with half-ass stuff on our own

Eric is right. The program is BS and you can easily find better here on the site. Read the stickies and journals to find a program you like and try it out. Good luck on your goals.

Thanks guys!! I will do that, it's just after all the years I trained, I doid some preatty rigorous workouts for more than a year and had tried all sorts of things and supps, with little to no gains in the way my body was shaped, hence I'm looking for something that will give me REAL results.

One year I went 12 months, watched what I ate, 30-40mins cardio 5 days a week, and intense weight training, it all equalled good stamina, but nothing more, my body looked the same..

Why dont you list out (in a new thread perhaps) your goals, your current diet, current training and everyone here will be more then willing to help out.

It gets frustrating when you have the dedication, but you dont seem to get anywhere. Dont worry your not alone, we've all been there before.
