Default Anyone use the shawn lebrun routine?

I was just wondering if any of you guys have or are currently using the shawn lebrun "Get Huge and Shredded" routine. His nuttrion plan says 50% protein, 40% carbs, and 10% fat. I noticed most other Muslce mass, or bulk up meal plans have different ratio's.

Can you post the routine? I searched for it online and found a mile-long spiel by LeBrun about how you can "PACK ON 20 POUNDS OF MUSCLE IN THE NEXT 15 MINUTES BY SENDING ME 300 DOLLARS CASH" or something like that. I didn't read it in depth. ;-)

His ratio sounds a little off though. I've always tried to go 40/30/30 or thereabouts - protein, carbs, fat respectively. I definitely don't think 10% fat is enough; you NEED certain fats in order to LOSE fat.

Most of the people on here are on things like Rippetoe's SS, Bill Starr's 5x5, HST, or things like that; I haven't even heard of this dude before. Can you post the routine?

His routine is much like others, so it itself should be fine.
Just need help with what to eat so that my weight training puts on muscle, about 1 lb per week.

I don't like using the ratio methods. Although some find it much easier.

To gain a pound a week, you need to eat 3500 cals over your maintenance (or more) per week, or 500 cals a day over your maint. Maintenance typically ranges from 14-16xBW.

Get a minimum of 1-1.5g/pound BW protein.

Get a minimum of 0.25g/pound BW fats (I like to take it up to 0.5g/pound)

Add up those cals. Subtract from daily allotment. Fill in with carbs.

You should never pay money for a program or program/diet plan that wasn't written exclusively for YOU. Period. It's too bad that you did but don't do it again! Some of those things have so-called personal training but that's usually a forum thing where you are able to join once you've paid. BS.

Hope the program works out well for you though.
