Talking Bulking/Cutting - What are your timelines?

Hey guys,

I'm just getting ready to start another cutting cycle, and I started wondering how long you guys bulk for, and how long you cut for throughout the year?

The reason I ask this, is because a lot of my BB friends bulk during the winter and basically start cutting shortly before summer (I guess to get buffed for the beach and stuff). I on the other hand don't really have any particular time of year, so what I tend to do is go by whatever my body is telling me. This last bulking cycle of mine has only been about 3 months long, but I really feel I'm ready to start cutting. I usually wait for a week or so after I start feeling the "need" to change my program, just to ensure it's not on a whim. What do you guys do?

Thanks

Raven

I only cut whenever I feel fat, or cant see any ab muscle. Rest of the time, I eat like a yeti and train like a beast.

Talking LOL! Thanks

That "yeti" comment cracked me up!

I'm glad there is atleast one other person that just goes by what their body tells them. Still, some of my friends tell me that I switch from bulking to cutting far too often and that it's very hard on my body. I dunno, I guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing until I feel it doesn't work anymore.

Thanks for the comments guys!

I bulked since birth ... now i'm cutting till december ... then i'll bulk again. its not so much of a winter summer thing, its just december is how long it will take me to shed this much fat.

U might have some fat on u but 16%(mine) and 18%(yours) are really close and u are way bigger than me. I wont complain if I where u. I wish I looked like a yeti, so that I can scare u all mofo's.

During Sept-Jan is my serious all out bulking time of year. Around March I will cut until probably May and then I go into a sort of mini bulk/cut for the remaining months depending on what I am doing at the time. I like to stay lean while still trying to increase muscle.

True, Thats where Im at. Learning how to cut now, I am putting back on a little weight so my body stays happy at the 200 mark. Trying to keep it clean. Then cut again. Then a bulk in nov-dec area.

hahah well my 18% is getting very close to your 16%. My prediction is 222 by weeks end. And I decided to quit drinking, so it will make the cutter so much more effective.

I cant wait to see the low 200's again.
