| Because I started working out in my basement now that I have weights.... I obviously dont have all the stuff at gyms so my workout is somewhat limited. No machines, only bar, bench and weights. Considering chest day- i do 5x5 bench, 3x10 incline, and thats about it besides push ups, what could i do on top of that? The bench doesnt go down to decline(i never really do decline anyways) but is there anything else? |

Gender: | try a Depth pushups. get plates next to you and your bench. Put your feet on the bench and hands on the floor. push up hard and lift your hands off the floor like your doing a clap push up but instead of clapping, you can clap if it makes you happy also, another plyometric push up I've been toying with.. do a push up as hard as you can so to lift yourself off the grownd and swing your arms and clap behind you and back down before you face plant on the ground. Try these with a pillow by your head first and then when your more confident, go for it. |

Gender: | Axle stands! You can buy a 1ton set of axle stands from wal-mart or any place with a half-assed automotive section for a low-price. Set one on each side and there ya go, a redneck bench press Only works if you floor press less than 2 tonnes though ![]() |
