| Guys, Im not totally new to working out but would like to get serious about it. I wanna build mass and at the time have no access to a gym. I have free weights and am not scared of ndoing a lot of push ups. Anybody got suggestions on a work out routine i could do to get ripped before being able to go to the gym? Thanks. |

Gender: | What type of free weights do you have ? To you have a bench ? Barbells / db's . Like you said pushups are good. Situps are good. Sled work can be done for cheap (take a look at some threads) I think AC posted a few things on what a person can do if they don't have much. Look for that - or I or someone can post it in when it's found. |

Gender: | Dumbbells are great for starting. Look up on the internet exercises for any body part and you will find some good info for starting out. The only part that would be hindered may be back because lat pulldowns and cable rows are important, but if you have an area where you can do chins and pull ups you will be fine. Also post what weight are your dbells because you might need a certain range for different exercises, simply because some exercises can go heavier than others. |

Gender: | I would suggest looking into some bodyweight exercises. Googling Pavel Tsatsouline should give you something useful to wrap your mind around. Also, I would suggest talking to MMA guys about what kind of bodyweight work they do. |

Gender: | Not to mention pullups of every possible variety under the sun. Wide grip Narrow grip Parallel grip fingertip over/under (one hand over, one under... just like it sounds) Chins (double underhand) Under/Parallel One hand higher than the other Using a tennis ball to grip Using ropes Using woodwn dowels one handed weighted using rings band assist... You get the picture. |
